Mucking Fagic
Good clean fun!

Time limitations mean there is only one page with our most recent exploits but hopefully this will be expanded in the near future. If you want to know know more please contact me via the LRO message board name : Saltwater_Cowboy
How it all started : I bought a cheap Range Rover to launch my Master Craft ski boat, not bad for £365 I thought. Turned out to be rotten as a pear. After lots of welding the starter went and I couldn't be arsed to change it.
Saw  this lovely SIIa with tax and MOT on ebay and managed to do a swap, what a result!
It did not stay standard for long as we soon added a nice desert cam paint job, Phat eight spokes with diamond back 7.50 tyres, snorkel made from drain pipe and a little cunning, LWB axles with 11 inch brakes, salisbury rear axle (cunningly adapted to fit) FWH plus various other things like stereo, temp gauge etc.
Off road its great, on road well lets just say its interesting! Its certainly better now we have replaced the bus steering wheel with a nice little moutney but the combination of poor brakes and off road tyres keeps you on the ball at speed.
Our off road buddy Matt B is always with us on our adventures and his little SJ410 always impresses people cos he gets stuck less than us, but hey my lunch box weighs more than his entire vehicle!
Talking of getting stuck here we are in a hole at Bures on a LROC driving day. This one was my fault. I stalled the engine and could net get it restarted. It took a guy in a defender with front and rear winches to get us out!
Ahh that's more like it, forward motion and a nice splash!
Thats how not to do it!
Glad that's not mine!
Us walking home after we knackered the engine! The crankshaft oil seal split losing a vast amount of oil. Rather than give up a days off roading we continued until the engine died. Thats hardcore for you!
